Overview
TeraDact is committed to customer satisfaction. This refund policy applies to all purchases made through the AWS Marketplace.
Refund Eligibility
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New customers may request a full refund within 30 days of their initial subscription purchase if:
- The software fails to perform as documented
- Technical issues prevent proper deployment despite reasonable support efforts
- The product does not meet the specifications as advertised
Pro-rated Refunds
The following situations may qualify for pro-rated refunds at TeraDact’s discretion:
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Service outages exceeding the SLA commitments outlined in your agreement
- Documented software defects that substantially impair functionality and cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe
Non-Refundable Items
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Subscription renewals (cancellations prevent future charges but do not refund current period)
- Usage-based charges for services already consumed
- Custom development, integration services, or professional services fees
- Requests made more than 30 days after the initial purchase date
- Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly documented prior to purchase
- Changes in business needs or strategy
Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time through the AWS Marketplace. Upon cancellation:
- Access continues through the end of the current billing period
- No refund is provided for the unused portion of the current billing cycle
- No future charges will be incurred
- Data retention follows standard retention policies (90 days)
Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Contact TeraDact support at [email protected]
- Include your AWS Account ID and purchase details
- Provide a detailed explanation of the issue
- Allow 5-7 business days for review
Approved refunds are processed through AWS Marketplace and typically appear within 7-10 business days.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) Credits
Customers with active Enterprise Agreements may be eligible for SLA credits (not refunds) if service availability falls below guaranteed uptime. See your specific Enterprise Agreement for specific terms.
Exceptions
TeraDact reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis. All refund decisions are final.
